MEET JULIO

Hi, I’m Julio.

I’ve always been drawn to moments where things could go wrong. Not because I like chaos, but because that’s where leadership actually shows up.

Over time, I noticed something.

When pressure is high, capable leaders don’t suddenly become incapable. But decisions stall. Alignment breaks. And good intentions don’t turn into action.

That disconnect stayed with me.

How This Work Took Shape

My path has taken me through business, academia, and global leadership rooms.

I hold a PhD. I’m completing a second doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania, where I also teach. I’ve written five #1 bestselling books. And I’ve worked with leaders across industries and cultures, in both English and Spanish.

But none of that is why I do this work.

I do it because I kept seeing the same thing happen, over and over again.

It was that the moment wasn’t designed to support good decisions.

What I Believe

I believe leaders shouldn’t have to choose between rigor and humanity.
Between structure and energy. Between clarity and momentum.

I believe ideas only matter if people can use them, especially under pressure. I’ve tested that belief with over 125,000 leaders across 30+ countries.

I believe the smartest leaders today aren’t afraid of AI — they’re learning to lead alongside it.

And that with the right structure, leaders don’t just react. They respond with confidence.

I’m a professor, and I’m a performer.

I take the work seriously.

I don’t take myself too seriously.

Because when people feel comfortable, they engage. When they engage, they learn. And when they learn, they take action.

Why This Matters to Me

The moments that shape organizations don’t always announce themselves. They happen in meetings. In transitions. In decisions that feel small, until they aren’t.

My work is about helping leaders recognize those moments — and structure them with intention.

Because when the moment works, everything else works better.

What defines it is the moment your team walks out of the room ready to act — with clarity, with alignment, and with confidence they didn’t have an hour before.

The moments that shape the future deserve more than habit and hope.
They deserve intention.
